My name is Kacey Klein (she/her) and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (#130851). I believe therapy is a team effort. We will work together to assess your unique needs and capacities. By intently listening to your personal stories and practicing self-reflection, we will build upon your (often unrecognized) strengths. I can help you achieve peace of mind, and understand your true goals and ultimately reach them. I take pride in making meaningful connections with others and helping others discover their strengths, voice their needs, and express their emotions.
In my previous work, I served as a therapist in residential settings for both substance use and eating disorders. I have also worked in adolescent facilities primarily working with anxiety, mood disorders, and family conflict. Most recently, my work has focused on higher education and helping individuals navigate the various stressors, events, and obstacles that students face during life transitions. My background working with individuals, couples, adolescents, and families allows me to provide eclectic counseling services and interventions. I am a human-centered therapist, I work with what you need, using a variety of therapeutic approaches such as CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and solution-focused interventions.
When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband, family, and dog, Kona. I love being outdoors, reading, trying new foods, and traveling.
